Visited the Trois Rivieres distillery while vacationing in Martinique. Build your RumRatings cabinet by rating all your favourite (and not so favourite) rums. Its quite a one of a kind agricole, produced from burnt canes and watered down using water infused with the powdered charred cane, which is boiled and then filtered. Have you found an online vendor selling Trois Rivieres ? I have a request though, would love to hear your thoughts on the new Trois Rivieres Cannes Brulees.

read more, The day we went, there were no guided tours, but we still learned a lot on the self-guided tour... Arome caramel. about 2 years ago When tasted these flavour notes continue with a mild short attack which underlines the overall spiciness. We went there before closing - got a free tasting.
this rhum is a very complex and interesting one.
How they developed and assembled it in such a way that the high ABV was completely tamed and smoothened out without losing any of its force, is a mystery.

The grounds are more of a museum - with patina machinery strategically placed.
YMHC Nice and balanced nose. You can walk around the grounds and view the distillery equipment, but it is not really a tour.

The afterburn is very long and flavourful. Worth someone else driving and losing the kids! I do a lot of rum/rhum distillery visiting and almost past this by because of its closeness to the motorway and the touristy signs. from Because I’m pretty sure they’d quaff this one by the glassful. It’s my first Trois Rivieres and it’s good, wonder how the more expensive are.

Een beetje scherp in het begin. The Trois Rivières Brut de fût Millésime 2006 (which is its official name) is relatively unusual: it’s aged in new American oak barrels, not Limousin, and bottled at cask strength, not the more common 43-48%.
